A rare original 1st press copy of Ian Carr's Nucleus - Roots released in 1973 on the Vertigo Spaceship label. This copy was purchased from Dobells London by a young employee and has been in the same careful ownership ever since!.
The record has been Degritter cleaned and the vinyl has come up spotless and very shiny with a couple of tiny marks on Side 2. We have graded EX.
Playback is huge! The dynamic shifts in this recording are incredible- this is a real workout for your speakers. The soundscape has real depth and width- on a half decent system there is sound everywhere. Some light noise in quiet passages but nothing that spoils the enjoyment.
Absolutely superb audio.
The outer laminate sleeve is still smooth, clean and crisp - complete with Dobells price sticker to rear. Barely any creasing & only minimal corner rubbing and edge wear, it is in excellent condition for the age with no writing, stains, tape or tears. No laminate lift.
The original poly lined inner sleeve ( with British Patent No.) is still present & doing a great job of protecting the vinyl.
This is a great opportunity to own an original copy in fabulous, fully cleaned and playtested condition. Ideal for a Vertigo collector or simply to play and enjoy!
