Uncommon UK STIFF RECORDS "Side 2, 6 track Edition" - the disc near mint
1977 Stereo/Mono LP on STIFF RECORDS ('SEE 4')
An unusual version, according to discogs ‘not produced at the Workhouse’, the label states ‘Recorded at the Workhouse..’.
Also this version has 6 tracks on Side B, the additional 1st track being ‘Sex & Drugs and Rock ‘n’ Roll’; on Side B the label title is ‘New Boots En Panties; the disc number on the label is ‘SEE4’. On Side A the title is ‘New Boots And Panties’.
The vinyl blank may be reused, in the matrix of Side A it bears the embossed number ‘SRL91002 7 A 44C1’ which is lined through and the hand etched text adjacent is ‘SEE4A’. (The ‘SRL91002’ is that of the Netherlands version - I’m confused!).
Side B matrix has embossed ‘SEE4 B 37C3’. There are no other mothers or stampers on either side.
The record is not the Scandinavian edition with 5 tracks on side B, but the cover numbers the disc as ‘SEEZ4’ and has a ‘Stiff Album Voucher’ adjacent to the number. The cover bears the rear text: ‘C. 1977 Dutch Record Company Distributed by dureco – Weesp/Holland a division of the International Pelgrims Group IPG’ and has the normal green/black Dury portrait on an orange ground.

LP in a better than excellent semi-gloss cover, with no marks or dirtying, not torn or impressed, with excellent edges and almost no rubbing to corners. Showing a very feint ghost ring from the label rim; the spine is near perfect, square and with crisp entirely legible titling; very nice overall. With an original poly lined plain inner sleeve which is creased and age-toned.
The disc is generally near mint, with a super wet-look high gloss sheen; has no scratches or handling marks; generally the sound throughout both sides is perfect with no extraneous noise; it is possible that this has not been previously played, with perfect labels with no spindle marks.

Low starting price, for an uncommon pressing, perhaps a little more than this would be a very fair, happy customer, closing price.
Shipping is at a cost of GBP3.90 to any destination world-wide, including UK. Wrapped, cushioned within high density expanded polystyrene and packed in stiffened heavy customised cardboard encasement.
