Description

If Footmen Tire You, What Will Horses Do? was released in 1968 and and features Evangelist Estus W. Pirkle. According to the liner notes, Pirkle's message is "a plea for Christians to repent their sins and return to God or else the Communists will be permitted to overrun America."

According to Wikipedia: "If Footmen Tire You, What Will Horses Do? is a 1971 Christian propaganda film directed by Ron Ormond." This album, is based on the Pirkle sermon that gives the film its name.

WIKIPEDIA: "The film is based on the teachings of Estus Pirkle and warns of the dangers facing the United States from Communist infiltrators. The film suggests that the only way to avoid such a fate is to turn to Christianity. It has attracted something of a cult following among secular fans because of its explicit depictions of torture and mass murder and the heavy-handed nature of its evangelical message.

The title paraphrases Jeremiah 12:5

"If you have run with footmen and they have tired you out, Then how can you compete with horses? If you fall down in a land of peace, How will you do in the thicket of the Jordan?"

This 12" vinyl record is in very good condition with no warping, nicks or scratches although the red label on side two is slightly off center. The Jacket is also in very good condition with no rips or splits only having wear consistent with age as pictured.
