Iggy and the Stooges - 'Raw Power'
Very Rare 1st U.K. PRESSING 1973
Original orange and black textured CBS label, S 65586
Matrix numbers S 65586 A1, S 65586 B1
Complete with original 'picture' inner sleeve
This is a very collectible, and seldom seen lp. The label has the CBS logo over the central hole on side A and B, confirming this is a first issue. Only a handful of the 'earliest' 1st pressings came with the rare 'picture' inner sleeve - most did not!!!!
Condition of cover: Very good/Excellent. Some minor creasing on spine and minor edge wear. There is also some minor white pinhead dotting, however this hasn't caused any raised or lowered surface on the cover which leads me to this that it is a flaw in the printing process.
Condition of inner sleeve: Excellent. Original rare black and white picture sleeve. Some slight folding has occurred in the top left hand corner of the inner sleeve but is the type of thing that if put flat under some heavy books would straighten out.
Condition of lp: Excellent/Near mint. There are no skips, jumps or major scratches on the vinyl that causes altered sound. There are minor surface needle marks that are visible under bright light but they are not numerous
Condition of label: Excellent/Near mint. A few scuffs on label under bright light and very minor spindle marks with no tearing.
