Igor Semenovich Bezrodny (may 7, 1930, Tbilisi (Tiflis), Georgian SSR, the TSFSR, the Soviet Union, 30 September 1997, Helsinki, Finland) — Soviet violinist, conductor, teacher, soloist of the Moscow Philharmonic society, Professor of Moscow Conservatory named after P. I. Tchaikovsky, chief conductor of the Moscow Chamber Orchestra and the Philharmonic Symphony orchestra of Turku (Finland), winner of first prizes at the International competitions "Prague spring" (1949) and the name of Bach (1950) people's artist of the RSFSR (1978). Winner of the Stalin prize of the third degree (1951). He toured with concerts in the USSR and abroad (since 1965 more than 10 years performed in a trio with pianist D. A. Bashkirov and cellist M. E. Homitser) in the future, giving more time teaching and conducting activities. Since 1955, he is Professor of Moscow Conservatory named after P. I. Tchaikovsky (1972 Professor, since 1981 — head of the Department). In 1967 he made his debut as a conductor in Irkutsk, in 1970 in Moscow. From 1977 to 1981 he was artistic Director of the MKO. In Finland since 1981. In 1986-1990 he was chief conductor of the Turku Philharmonic orchestra. Since 1991 — Professor of Music Academy named Jean Sibelius in Helsinki. Died 30 Sep 1997 in Helsinki.
