Description
Rare Blue Note BLP 4114 record by Ike Quebec, Mono pressing with New York labels, no Ear, Van Gelder stamped. The record is sound checked.
Jacket: VG+, Original Laminated cover, front is nice and shiny, has several minor skratches on lamination and 2 dents on the spine side, minor lamination peeling along the mouth of the jacket, minor dents and wear on corners, no seam or spine splits, lower seam is slightly smashed (please see picture). Back is clean without ring wear, has minor oxidation mainly along the edges, has several minor yellow spots. Overall is great preserved cover, I grade conservatively.
Record: Side 1: VG+, however plays better. Loud crisp sound with some background noice, which is not overpower the music. There is one feelable scratch between 1st and 2nd song, some hairlines too. Side 1 makes several quit ticks, no skips, no pops. Side 2: VG, plays better, same as side 1, however has 5 or 6 scuffs and scratches, nothing feelable, but sometimes makes repetitive ticks for several revolutions.
Still very enjoyable record and great for jazz collector.
