Description

This is the original Van Gelder-stamped mono “P”-pressing (never issued with a deep-groove) of Ike Quebec “It Might As Well Be Spring” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note BLP 4105. The playing surface is in virtually new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The laminated New York 23 cover is bright and clean throughout; 1” tear in the upper right corner of the back slick, probably from improperly removing price sticker. Original illustrated inner sleeve is included. Personnel include Freddie Roach, Milt Hinton, and Al Harewood. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL. Please do not bid unless you are comfortable providing credit card information directly. The “Blue Note Records” book – “A Guide for Identifying Original Pressings” is now available on eBay.
