Description
Up for bids is an extremely rare psychedelic & avant-garde LP by Il Gruppo (aka - "The Group" / "Gruppo di Improvvisazione di Nuova Consonanza"). Titled "The Private Sea of Dreams: Improvisational Mood Music for Modern Dream Extensions," and released in 1967 on RCA Victor Dynagroove label, the group of abstract and improvisational musicians was notable for the inclusion of legendary film composer, Ennio Morricone, before he went on to produce some of the most acclaimed film scores of all time.
The mono vinyl (LPM-3846) is in amazing shape, a strong VG++ or EX. A few very light marks that are barely noticeable and will not affect the sound.
The sleeve is VG. The coloring is still very vivid (almost 50 years later) and is solidly held together. Top left edge has wear (see the pics), and there are small pen initials on the back bottom.
