Ilhan Mimaroglu - RARE Turkish kids ep - electronic avant garde experimental
Ilhan Mimaro?lu - Çizmeli Kedi (with Solmaz Sporel) EPTurkish avant-garde composer Ilhan Mimaro?lu worked on a small number of children's records in Turkey, providing soundscapes, effects, and interludes. Here, he provides the ambience for the story of Puss In Boots, combining electronic and acoustic sounds and instruments accompanied by spoken narration in Turkish. Some of it gets pretty weird! EP plays at 33 rpm. This material has never been released anywhere else and is extremely difficult to find. Lovely cover drawing, too.

Vinyl Condition: Low VG+ / High VG Extremely good condition for a kid's record. A few light visible scratches, a moment or two of light surface noise, but no loud pops or noise. Overall plays extremely well – it must have belonged to a well-behaved kid.
Cover Condition: High VG+ No writing or seam splits, just general aging.
