Description

This is Clef Records MG C-676, Illinois Jacquet And His Orchestra, a black, deep groove trumpet label original mono issue of this classic session featuring amongst others, Sweets Edison, Carl Perkins or Gerald Wiggins and Irving Ashby. The record is in near mint condition showing almost no signs of wear and playing quietly throughout. The beautiful, original David Stone Martin cover is excellent and intact. The labels are excellent and show no spindle marks. This is a superb, collector's grade copy of this rare and beautiful original issue.
