Released by Immediate in 1967, cat # IM 062; this is “Tin Soldier” / “I Feel Much Better” by The Small Faces.
Let’s get the sleeve out the way first – it is only in good condition. Quite worn, but no seam splits or unsightly stains. If you could have seen where this record was stored for 30 odd years you’d understand why it looks so worm!
Of course, the sleeve has done a wonderful job of protecting the record inside and as this is one of the toughest Small Faces demos to find, let’s be thankful the sleeve has taken the wear and tear!
This is a nice white/red demo copy with the release date of the 1 December 1967 on the labels. There are quite a few spindle marks on the labels, but as you can see from the picture, the A-side label is clean and unmarked – as is the B-side label. There are some very light surface marks on the vinyl, but nothing of any consequence. Visually, the record looks better then very good, but not excellent. Playing, the record is sonically in excellent condition. The record and sleeve will be split before posting.
All of these singles come from the same special source – an original 60’s Top Rank DJ who started in the ballrooms and progressed to radio and record production in the 1970’s. The majority of the collection is mint or unplayed! All of these are one-offs, no duplicates so miss them at your peril! For the full story on the collection, please see our “me” page.
Postage and packing for one record will be £1 UK, £1.80 Europe and £2.50 USA and the Rest of the World. For two records, the costs are still just £1 UK, £2.20 Europe and £3.20 USA and the Rest of the World.
Insurance will be required if the value of the order exceeds £34. If you refuse insurance and the record is damage or goes missing in the post, I’m afraid we cannot be held responsible and will not entertain any claims. UK record delivery is an extra 70p and special delivery is £4.75. Overseas insurance will be either £3.50 or £5.50 dependent upon the value.
Payment by PayPal is preferred for all customers; though I will accept cheques or postal orders for UK customers. Overseas customers must pay by Paypal unless agreed otherwise prior to auction end.
