Description
This is part of a big auction of 45's from several independent 1950's LA-area labels that I'm running this week. I apologize if you were looking for the Rockabilly auction. Due to some upcoming travel and time restraints, I've had to change the order of the auctions. Take a look at these and keep an eye out for a Duke Records and a Chess/Checker/Excello auction later in October.

Release: Gloria Jean Pitts - Things You Should Know / I Don't Stand No Quittin'
Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1956
Notes: This is the only single released by Pitts, who apparently released a few more sides for Imperial that remain unreleased to this day. Great sax work on the A-side which is a solid mid-tempo rocker. B-side rocks as well, but is more piano based R&B.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with no noticeable scratches. There is some very light scuffing in the runoff, but other than that there's almost no wear at all. Both sides play very well with almost no background noise at all. No pops/ticks/skips, etc. The label is super-clean as well. No tears or writing, nice original gloss. See pics, but this is a really nice copy overall.
Sleeve Condition: VG, has some light bends and wrinkles as well as a pencil number written in the corner. No splits or tears.
