Original UK Elektra Red label stereo 1st press LP.

The fifth LP by the Incredible String Band issued in November 1969 and recorded in the summer whilst on tour in the US and after the band had performed a badly recieved set at Woodstock. This album marks a change in their music after converting to scientology and heralded the use of electric instruments and greater contributions from Rose Simpson & Licorice McKechnie. This is the original issue with the very early A//1 B//1 matrices and matching 1-G 1-G stampers!

The E. J. Day Group matt gatefold sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some light corner/edge wear, some light storage rubbing and some light foxing on the inner cover. The spine is intact, slightly crushed and fully readable, the plain company inner is intact & in VG+ condition.

The record is in visually EX+ condition, with only one or two small scuffs and a couple of faint sleeve removal hairlines visible on each side. The labels are in EX+ condition, clean & bright with evidence of only one or two very faint spindle markings on each side!   The sound reproduction is EX+, still clear & precise throughout with no loud pops, hiss or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some very brief background noise during the run in grooves & in a couple of the quieter passages and overall a really great, loud & lively listen!  

The matrix nos. are; EKS-74057 A//1 stamper 1-1-10, B//1 stamper 1-1-6. This is one of the early copies of the first pressing of the original UK stereo issue of this classic 1969 album!
