You are bidding on an original album that has been in my collection from new. It has not been played for many years, but I believe it to be in excellent playing condition, since it was never abused and always played on good hi fi decks. This is the Incredible String Band, self titled first album, EUK 254 and is mono. It was issued in 1966. The vinyl is at least good to vg on both sides, tough I am normally conservative in my condition report. The label is unmarked with no spindle wear. Like all my albums it would benefit from a light clean.. The matrix marks are: EUK254 A: and EUK 254 B: which indicates first pressings. The cover is good, with spine intact. The corners are slightly rubbed and there is some lifting of the outer clear surface along the spine and towards the edges. The back has a slight brown discolouration on top right, but is otherwise very good. This is an uncommon find in this condition. The Incredible String Band were very much a cult of the time, and the music is timeless. This is the most folk orientated of the albums, but the seeds of the later band are very much in evidence.
