Description

An original 1st of DAUGHTER on UK Elektra from 1968. Matrix A1/B1. No track timings on the labels. Very nice heavy pressing all in MONO. The vinyl comes housed in an original mono cover with pinched spine. We also have the original inner sleeve and the lyric insert. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) A lovely looking specimen which has only seen light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of lightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Don't under estimate a grading like this on a '68 copy on this "all acoustic number" - it is highly unusual. Very very fussy audio and any copy which has even seen moderate use will likely exhibit signs of use. But this copy is superbly preserved and the audio is clean and crisp as the day it rolled off the press. Absolutely love the audio - total integrity and full detail. I have never witnessed this title sounding this precise and clear. FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Ex-) Given the vintage I'd argue this cover is in absolutely superb condition. A lovely shiny looking cover with one crease in the top right [impressive]. No signs of light fade either side. The rear is totally flat with just a couple of slight creases over at the spine edge. Hardly any edge wear and sharp openings - pretty damn good for '68. The spine is 100% intact and overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. No splits.
Insert (Ex) In truly amazing condition - you don't find many looking like this.
