Description

An original 1st Mono press of DAUGHTER on UK Elektra. Matrix A1/B1. These early copies are very heavy pressed and sound unbelievably good. The vinyl comes housed in an original fully laminated mono cover. NO LYRIC SHEET.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) A great looking copy and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of superficial trails marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback. Lovely quiet intros and inbetweens and the audio comes across with super clarity. By all means have a crack at a cheaper copy - and you may find out to your cost...better pay a bit more and get a properly tested and clean player. Because, on this title, a clean playing 1st mono is going to play miles better than any reissue or 50/50 original copy. Literally plays superb throughout. Very little sign of use at all. I could make out a couple of crackles in a few isolated spots. I.e. as infrequent as is possible to find. Highly recommended from all angles.
Cover (Ex-) The lamination has really helped preserve this cover and it looks magnificent. Lovely bold covers and really doesn't look that old - which is mind boggelling. Only thing taking the grading down a tad is a couple of slightest creases. Spine is 100% intact and sharp openings.. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
