For many years we recorded with Tri-State singing and recording sermon albums or taking.part in albums with other singers. In all, some eleven-albums were recorded plus a memorial album for Carroil Burris that sang and (raveled with me over the world in Evangelism. Carroll died Of cancer in December of 1975 and I sang very little after that. But people kept wanting to buy albums or have a special song sung. In November of 1976, in a revival, Jimmy McKinnon that had recorded with us on the last two albums, with his wife Kim, were in the service. I asked them to help me sing a song or so we used to do. The Spirit came down as in old times when we used to sing. And so we began to sing together some again and God blessed the people again as before. People keep wanting to buy albums or tapes wherever we are so we felt led again to record these songs soully for the purpose of blessing God’s people or comforting in time of bereavement or trouble and above all that it may bring conviction on those who hear that are not saved. As we continue to travel for the Lord with my wife Mary that now travels with me from Africa, India, Haiti, Canada or state after state to people of every denomination, the prayer we pray and that Jimmy and Kim prays, is that God will be glorified and you will be blessed and helped, for this is our purpose in recording.
