Some notes on the 78 RPM sound samples: Each sound file was created ONLY by using the same copy offered here on auction (strictly, NOT by another copy). I have been offering sound samples from the offered vinyl records for some time but my acquintance with recording 78s properly is quite new. Recordings are done using a Murray MkII turntable and proper 78rpm stylus though they are still not near perfection since I have to upgrade to a better sound editing program. But I think these will give a fair idea of how the music and the disc overall sounds. Enjoy!

Another very important point about these sound files: I have been offering sound samples from the offered vinyl records for some time but this week, I am experiencing my first time as to offer sound files from 78rpm discs. These recordings have been done with a Murray MkII turntable and 500-II Stanton custom 78rpm stylus (not elliptical!). Beside the fact that I am doing this for the first time, I will definitely be dismissing the stylus I have used for the recordings simply because it's expiration is about time. I am expecting to receive a brand new stylus soon and will probably offer much clearer and less saturated sound files from henceforth. Please bear in mind that the discs on offer you'll hear on these mp3 files are in way better quality than the actual recordings.
