Description
Excellent original 1966 UK 1st mono pressing of Joe Harriott and John Mayer's Indo-Jazz Suite, which powerfully blended modern jazz and Eastern music.
Recorded on the Columbia Records' famed Lansdowne Series jazz imprint, this is a great copy with much to commend it.
The front laminated flipback sleeve has minimal wear – a small surface tear to the back cover bottom flipback and the name 'Wayne' written at the top of the back cover. It grades Excellent minus.
The vinyl plays through really well with very occasional surface noise in quieter moments – there is the odd mark and hairline but it easily grades VG++.
The black, blue and silver Columbia labels are in fine shape and grade Excellent.
And the original picture EMI inner sleeve is also in solid VG+ order - a small tear to the opening edge and a seam split to one side have been carefully taped.
Excellent, collectable jazz.
