In the next few weeks I will be listing a few rare LP's that are intended for the "serious" collectors. There will be reasonable reserves to these items. However, the reserve will be below the current market value of these nearly impossible to find LP's in the kind of condition offered.
This listing is for Inez & Charlie Foxx's LP on Sue. This is another of the very difficult Sue LP's to obtain. Usually, as with the Ike & Tina Turner LP's, they turn up trashed, or VG+ at best. In this example, the record is beautiful with full lusterous gloss. No scuffs or scratches. There are only a few hairlines that prevent a store stock grade. The labels are almost perfect, with just a faint and tiny spindle mark. Next to perfect. I will grade the record at an 8++ or 9-. NM at a minimum. The jacket slick is unimpaired and retains it's full color. The seams and spine are perfect, and the back retains it's white color. The only blemish is someone's name written on the lower left. (Heavy sigh!). An infintesimal amount of shelf wear on the bottom that must be looked for, and a tiny bottom left corner bump. I grade the cover at an 8. Next to impossible to find a nicer copy of this very difficult to find LP. It has been in my collection for many years. Good luck in your bids!
