Description
This is somewhat of an obscure and unique listing for the highly collectible and extremely rare vinyl double album, “Introducing Joss Stone” by Joss Stone. My name is Joshua Lutz & I am an artist and music producer in the NYC area. I met Joss and worked with her where she recorded this in the west village in 07. I was the artist who designed the mural on the back of this album (the little photos of that guy jumping around in the peace sign on the back is me). I am listed in Wikipedia as “mural artist.” I bought this record last year here on eBay, NOS (new old stock) for what I have it listed here for. I just never got around to listening to it so it’s now for sale.
This album has never been opened outside of taking these photos one time. I’ve never put a needle on it once and it has sat in a plastic record sleeve since it was purchased brand new in 2022.
It is mint and therefore sold as “Brand New Old Stock”. I have the RIAA certified gold record hanging in my home recording studio (see listing last image) from the work I did on this record, so I just really don’t need this wonderful record… to be honest. It deserves to be played, not stored on a shelf, so I’m selling it for what it cost me.
I have some original memorabilia and photos of me and Joss together from 2007 if you are interested, I can include some photos in the sleeve if you want them to make owning the record more fun :) I figure someone should be listening to this record and enjoying it. I’m happy to sign the back, where there are pictures of me, jumping off the wall with spray cans in my hand when I painted the mural for her… Or I can just leave it as is and send it out. As a default I’ll just send it NOS untouched unless I hear otherwise.
