Trying to sort out all the fine points of this album was difficult for me. I have described it the best I could. If you have any questions please ask before bidding as I do not accept returns. Thanks!
“Introducing... The Beatles Englands (sic) No. 1 Vocal Group”. Vee-Jay. 1964. Mono.
Label is black with rainbow band with oval “Vee-Jay” logo. Does not have “Longplaying” or “Microgroove”. “Please, Please Me” with comma and extra space before second “Please”. Album title “Introducing the Beatles” printed centered below Vee-Jay logo. “The Beatles” printed centered below album title.
Vinyl has some superficial scuffs and a few scratches but play is minimally affected if at all. Dead wax hand scratched matrix:
Side 1; 63-3402 D URJ
Side 2: 63-3403 0(?) URJ
Back titles include “Please, Please Me” (with comma) and “Ask Me Why”. Harrison’s shadow present. Jacket has some loss to paper on bottom seam, has small “2” on at top right corner, some hen-scratches (indentations only not marks) on left and center columns between track list and light overall rubbing.
