Description
Introducing The Beatles Mono LP Vee Jay Record Album. This record came from the original owner who purchased it back in 1964. Before so many were collecting these hard to find records. It was sitting in her old record box in the closet for decades. Original, authentic issue from 1964. The record is VJ 1062 version 1 Mono LP with the songs "Love Me Do" and "P.S. I Love You". The title on the label "Introducing The Beatles" is above the spindle hole. The words Audio Matrix and a MR in a circle are etched in the dead wax on both sides. A true Vee Jay Version 1 record. The record condition looks to be very good at the least. Probably better. As I looked at the record at multiple angles. I couldn't see any scratches or rubs. Looks to be hardly played. The labels are bright and clean. Very little wear by the spindle hole on either side of the record. Nice clean record. The blank back was a transitional cover issued after the ad back. But before the column back. The Blank Back is a rather hard to find issue. The cover is very nice. There are no seam splits. The top left corner has a little ding. The usual ring wear on the bottom of the cover (see pics) is rather light. There is some light surface wear. There is no writing or stains on the cover. The blank back is still nice and white. The record is in the original white paper sleeve it came in. It has yellowed with time. $4.00 standard shipping in the U.S. Alaska, Hawaii and outside the U.S. would be more.
