Description
Introducing The Beatles mono Version 1 BLANK BACK.
The blank back was the transitional cover issued after the ad-back, but before the column-back. Original, authentic issue from January 1964. Oval Vee Jay label. Title and group name above spindle hole on label. Contains "Love Me Do" and "PS I Love You."
Cover meets all the tests. 1/4" flaps inside the cover top and bottom. Both cover and record graded as a solid VG. Cover has no seam splits and no writing. Normal minor ringwear. Label is clean. Record plays nicely with very light surface noise audible between tracks.
Using Spizer's numbering system, Cover is VJ 1062(1).MC2B. Record is VJ 1062(1).MR1B. See photos.
