Description
The Beatles "Introducing The Beatles"
This is a US vinyl pressing on VEE-JAY Records VJLP 1062 from 1964. It is the Mono pressing with the version 1 songs. The labels are black with colorband and VJ in brackets.
This is an original Mono pressing with the version 1 tracks : "Love Me Do" and "P.S. I Love You". The back cover lists these songs, the labels list these songs, and the record plays these songs. So, it is not a counterfeit.
The front cover has George's shadow on the right side. The album title and VEE-JAY is printed on the left spine. The back cover has the correct song titles listed in two columns. The song title "A Taste Of Honey" has no breakdowns in printing. The inside cover has 1/4 inch inside flaps at top and bottom.
The record labels have "Introducing The Beatles" and "The Beatles" printed above the spindle hole. Both labels have 'LONGPLAYING' and 'MICROGROOVE' printed on them. The colorband around the labels have all the correct colors. The distance from the last song to the label is exactly 7/8 inch.
The matrix runouts are etched : Side 1 : 63-3402 ARC AB and 'AudioMatrix' (is stamped) and Side 2 : 63-3403 ARC A 'AudioMatrix' (is stamped).
In the Perry Cox and Frank Daniels Beatles Price Guide this is : VJ 1062 (1) MR3.
The songs are : I Saw Her Standing There, Misery, Anna, Chains, Boys, Love Me Do, P.S. I Love You, Baby It's You, Do You Want To Know A Secret?, A Taste Of Honey, There's A Place, and Twist And Shout.
Overall Condition is : Cover is VG / Record is VG
The cover is VG with no tears and no seam splits. There is light overall wear, corner bumps, a big name on the back cover, and a small stain on the back cover after the song title : 'P. S. I Love You'. The vinyl looks VG and it plays VG+, with light handling and light scuffs. It plays with very light static and no skips. There is one longer scuff on Side 1, song 5, that play through fine. The Side 1 label has a tear that is 3 inches long by 1/4 inch wide and it has been blacked in. The Side 2 label is nice with very light spindle marks. The record comes in a plain white inner sleeve.

Packaging :
I take great care on every package and I do each one personally. I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut composite cardboard. I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve. The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides.
