Accessing rare content from renowned artists is indeed a great gift for fans and admirers of music produced in Brazil. With over forty years of history, the São Paulo band IRA! has teamed up with Três Selos and Nada Nada Discos to officially release their two demo tapes, recorded in 1983/84. The release is also available in box format, with a double LP and bonus material. Formed by Nasi (vocals), Edgard Scandurra (guitar), Dino (bass) and Charles Gavin (drums), IRA! from 83-84 was a precursor of the national new wave and post-punk.

Ira! is a legendary rock band from São Paulo, Brazil, formed in 1981. Known for their high-energy performances and distinctive sound, Ira! played a pivotal role in shaping the Brazilian rock scene during the 1980s and 1990s. The band’s music blends elements of rock, punk, and new wave, often infused with socially conscious lyrics and catchy melodies. Their sound is characterized by powerful guitar riffs, catchy hooks, and the strong, emotive vocals of lead singer Nando Reis (who was in the band until 2000).
Throughout their career, Ira! became known for their hits such as "Flores," "Envelheço na Cidade," "Núcleo Base," and "Pobre Paulista." The band's ability to mix deep, sometimes melancholic lyrics with energetic instrumentation has earned them a dedicated fan base.
