Description
Here from 1917 is Irish Bagpiper Tom Ennis Playing a medley of Traditional Irish Reels and Hornpipe selections.
The A side is Irish Reels Medley No.6 and features "The Maid that left the County", "Drowsy Maggie", "Around the World for Sport", The B: is Irish Hornpipe-Medley No. 3 and features: "Murphy's Hornpipe", "Londonderry Clog" and "McNamara Hornpipe" .
This is Victor 10" 78rpm Record 18366, and I just test played this 90year old record on my little Emerson "Sounder 1" electric phonograph with a very light tonearm and it sounded wonderful. There are a very few light scuffs and scratches that do no effect the sound Quality of this original Acoustic Recording. I rate this conservatively a strong VG+.
