Irish Dance Party Michael Coleman & The McNulty Family Vinyl LP VERY RARE Country GB Sub-Genre Irish Size LP (12-Inch) Speed 33RPM Good condition sleeve ihas some damage, signes of use Format: Vinyl LP album. Ace of Hearts Records, UK release no date. Rare mono LP release from the 1960s on the Decca subsiduary Ace of Hearts. Side 1 is six tracks of Michael Coleman’s fiddle playing from 78rpm recordings made for Decca during the 1930s, while side 2 features 1940s recordings by The McNulty Family. The material is traditional Irish folk jigs, reels, waltz and flings. 12 tracks including: High Level-McCormacks; Bonnie Kaye-Jenny's Chickens; Lord Gordon's Reel; Medley Of Jigs; The Men Of The West-Mrs Kenny; Stack Of Barley Medley; Back To Donegal; Hills Of Glenswilly; Tipperary Daisy; Erin's Green Shore; We'll Take You Back To Ireland; Kielrow-Ma McNulty's Favourite. This LP was part of a large collection of folk music LPs from the estate of a retired music journalist who loved folk music. The majority of these LPs are traditional Celtic roots folk music, with many being psych folk rock. Many are original first or early pressings and in near mint or excellent condition, they appear to be little played or spare copies.
