Hi on offer I have an Original UK PRESSING! of Irma Thomas "Don't Mess With My Man / "Set Me Free" in at least VG+ Grade with very loud and clear playback and hardly any signs of pops or clicks and certainly no sticks or jumps, the record lays perfectly flat on the turntable and plays through perfectly both sides, there is a few light harlines on both sides but this is a super rare UK PRESSING! from 1964 so it's now touching 54 years old, and i have had this record since I was a kid, probably around 27 years so it has been very well looked after and only played with a new stylus so the grooves have been well preserved and it still sounds nice, UK pressed Northern Soul is getting rarer and in more demand than ever before and a look on here will show that there is only 1 other copy of this classic dancer track on listed priced at £165!!! graded at EX+ however this copy plays almost at the EX grade with no distortion, not even on the raunchy & heavy saxophone solo on "Don't Mess With My Man" BUT! there is a small mark detailed on the last picture which is on the B-side "Set me Free" which produces 4 audible pops when the stylus passes over it and 2/3 small clicks a few seconds before that. as can be heard in the sound clips. my asking price is a fraction of the £165 that is expected from other sellers so why not grab yourself a seriously rare Northern Soul dancer at a much more manageable price than others, I will be adding 2 full sound clips of the actual record on offer for you to hear how good it sounds before you bid. These clips have been taken directly from the record with no filters or scratch removal applied using a sensitive stylus and the high frequency boosted to highlight even the lightest noise so what you hear is EXACTLY! how the record plays.
