This is a very uncommon example of the long running production history of this LP.  First, the LP itself, is actually a first run 1968 pressing, that received the first of the new Yellow labels, when the previous Plum and Mustard label design was discontinued and it sounds amazing. 

The matrix sequence is exactly the same as is shown in the Discogs listings for the original issue of the record (see Matrix alpha numerics below). 

Additionally, the album cover has a rare misprint that I even overlooked at first. The proper name of Track 4 / Side 1, is "Termination".  On this issue on the back cover track list, it is instead spelled, "Terminaton". 

Lastly - this pressing was manufactured at the Columbia Records' Terre Haute, Indiana manufacturing plant.  These are more sought after than others. This factor is established by the catalog sequence on the labels - (ST-C-681329CT) and  (ST-C-681330CT). CT is the alpha code for the Terre Haute plant.

Further evidence of this being a first run pressing with a second issue label, is the print at the very bottom of each side of the label, "MFG. BY ATLANTIC RECORDING CORP., 1841 BROADWAY NEW YORK, N.Y."  Later pressings would have the Rockefeller Plaza address.  The "LW" in the matrix sequence also indicates original run, in that Atlantic / ATCO was using Longwear Plating for the production tooling from the mastering process.

LP: (Graded) Near Mint , according to Goldmine record grading definitions. This record grades as an LP that appears to either have been handled or played on a small number of occasions only in the most cautious manner possible but picked up only just a few very small and minor surface sleeve scuffs (not scratches) somewhere along the way. None of the ever so slight imperfections in any way affect the tracking of this LP (see Play Grading below). 

The plating surfaces retain their as new glossiness and the labels are in outstanding shape with only the faintest indication of any spindle trails. The record is also exceptionally clean and turntable ready.

Play Graded: Near Mint Plus -  This LP, in terms of absence of surface noise, is as close to the quietness of a Compact Disc as nearly any vinyl pressing ever gets. So, on the below linear graph, the in between tracks rating is 9.7 or better and during song selections, is 9.8 or better.  The quietness of digital and the richness of analog. The sonics, in terms of clarity, dynamics, imaging, balance and definition, are magnificent.    

Cover: (Graded) Very Good Plus - quite modest and moderate degree of ring / shelf / edgewear but has all solid seams and legible spine printing..
