Description
For sale here is a rather speculative Iron maiden 12" picture disc. I will be as honest as i possibly can be with the details, as to be honest i cant quite work it out myself. What i know is that this picture disc came from EMI's former pressing plant which has since changed hands and this disc along with others were on display there. The disc is quite scratched and does skip in places. It also has a couple of chips to the rim. On side A is the cover of the Brave New World album cover and appropriate track listings relating to that side of the official release which are, The wicker man, ghost of the navigator and brave new world. However when played through the tracks are - 1) Wasted years 2) Children of the dammed 3) Number of the beast 4) Run to the hills.
Side B has the dance of death album artwork with no track listings. Again, when played through the track listings differ from what one might think to be on the record. They are - 1) Intro- Churchills speech 2) Aces high (live after death version's 3) Two minutes to midnight 4) The trooper.
Like i say i can only speculate that this is a factory misspress, and as it has come from the pressing plant would have no reason to think otherwise. I have checked track listings on Maiden best of compilations and can find no matching track listings, and with the album artwork differing too, further suggests a misspress. This is why i shall leave it up to you, the Maiden fans to determine its worth as i am starting it at 99p start price with no reserve. Will post worldwide. Happy bidding!
