Description
I am currently selling a large section of my record collection asI am relocating. All records were bought at the time of release and havebeen played very little. Please check out my full listing for some rare andcollectible vinyl and tour programmes. I would rate the vinyl as being inExcellent condition and the covers as Very Good/Excellent. Please look at thegrading guide below for more information.
Record CollectorMagazine Grading Guide :
MINT: The recorditself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration insound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, bookletor poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayedshould be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, butthere is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging mighthave some wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: Therecord has obviously been played many times, but displays no majordeterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and theoccasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items,without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The recordhas been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated,perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents sufferfrom folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The recordis still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displaysconsiderable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will betorn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR: The recordwill not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover andcontents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The recordis unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use
as a collection filler.
