I thought I’d say a few words about this auction, my name is Martin Hooper, I used to have a massive Iron maiden collection until I sold up a few years back ~ the guy that bought it need a transit van to pick everything up ~ that’s how much Iron Maiden stuff I had.

The records I’m selling here are for a good friend of mine Andy Brock, some of you may have seen us at Iron Maiden shows. I first met Andy about 25 years ago at a record fair when we were both looking for Iron Maiden records, discovered we both had a passion for Iron Maiden and football and have been friend ever since. When I first new Andy he was able to walk with the aid of crutches, he is however now wheelchair bound and has been for some-time. Andy has a passion for travel having visited many countries in Europe and as far afield as Mexico. Travelling is becoming harder for him,  however Andy is keen to do as much as possible whilst he’s still fit enough to do so independently, as such he’s made the difficult decision to sell some of his Iron Maiden records to finance further trips.

So when you bid on his records do so in the knowledge that the money isn’t going to a dealer in profits but to help someone continue their love of travel, meeting Maiden fans and metal heads around the world.
