I bought them when they were first released in 1990 by buying each one as it was released each week. collecting the vouchers and sending them off for the box.

The box itself is scuffed on the edges as it is over 20 years old. Two of the corners needed careful glueing which I have done from the inside.  The Records themselves are mint and only played once as I recorded them and listened to the off tape at the time.

The glue has let go on the edge of the odd sleeve and would just need redoing with pritt stick or similar.

Library Decription:

The First Ten Years is a series of 10 CDs and double 12" singles by British heavy metal band Iron Maiden, released between February 24 and April 28 1990, in commemoration of the band's ten year recording anniversary.

Each CD/double 12" contains two singles, complete with original B-sides and artwork, as well as an edition of "Listen With Nicko", a spoken-word track in which drummer Nicko McBrain would recount the history behind each song specific to that release. Each part in the series included a special voucher, all ten of which could be exchanged by mail order for a limited edition storage box.

Iron Maiden also released The First Ten Years: The Videos on VHS videotape and laserdisc, containing all 16 promotional music videos which the band had made up to that point.
