Description
This auction is for an original vinyl LP copy of the IRON MAIDEN live album Live After Death from 1985.
As a collector myself, I appreciate the importance of condition. I have listed the condition of the vinyl and sleeve with as much detail as possible below. Please see photos for details.
VINYLS — Both records are in Very Good / Excellent condition overall. I have played all sides of the album through and the sound overall is excellent, with no jumps during playback. Both record are bright and glossy and the centre labels are also in fantastic condition. There is some crackling and a few light pops, but these are mainly right at the start of each side and fade out fairly early in to each side. Overall, there is some very light background noise and a few crackles, but these are mainly in any quieter sections (ie. tracks fading out/starting and at the beginning of each side) – however, given the type of music and ‘live’ sound recording, this does not really deter from the sound quality and listening experience overall. The only signs of wear are a few very light scratches, but these do not appear to affect playback.
SLEEVE — The gatefold sleeve is in Very Good condition overall. It does not have any splits or tears and is nice and vivid in colour, with no fading. There is some very slight edge wear overall (mainly across the top and bottom edges) but nothing too major, and just a little corner wear. The spine is in excellent condition with no fading, and just some light wear. The inner gatefold is free from any wear/damage. The original lyrics sleeves are bot in Very Good+ condition — both have a slight split to one side but not too large, and they both have fairly minimal wear. Please see photos.
