Description
Iron Maiden are an English heavy metal band formed in East London in 1975 by bassist and primary songwriter Steve Harris. They achieved initial success as pioneers of the new wave of British heavy metal, despite little radio or television support. "Maiden Japan" released as 'Heavy Metal Army' in Japan, is a live EP. The title is a pun from Deep Purple's live album 'Made In Japan'. The original Japanese pressing features only 4-tracks with a record speed 45 RPM. The original cover has Eddie holding the severed head of lead vocalist Paul Di'Anno while the band was looking to replace him. That cover has become a collector's item. This is a replacement cover done on very short notice, and contains 5-tracks. The vinyl is in near mint condition. The cover is in near mint condition. Harvest Records, #MLP-15000.
