Grading: I simply refuse to grade Mint on anything even if there is an overwhelming case to do so. That’s my choice, I simply believe any item has a fault somewhere if you look close enough or playcheck thoroughly. The album is playgraded in its entirity as I play all records I offer before submitting to Ebay. Not only randomly chosen parts or joining grooves are checked for sound quality and quietness, but I play from the beginning to the end at a high volume on headphones which gives the best option for tracing any blemish or minuscule sound present on the record that might affect sound quality. I do even record the entire LP during its control play, in order to be able to answer any possible further questions and to be able to play the music without giving the chance of using the LP once more for playcheck.

VINYL:

Vinyl Condition/Visual Grading: EX

Very mild surface traces are the only evidence of having been removed from the original plastic sleeve. A copy that is still shiny, with intense colours, it had obviously a few plays, but no serious marks on the surface that would affect sound quality. The vinyl is removed from the original sleeve and is placed in a new and clean poly-lined plain white inner.

Sound Quality and Audio Grading: EX

Strong sound, all frequencies clear. Certainly, no skips, no jumps, no physical disturbance to perfect play from run-ins till run-offs. Certain background noise, with crackles here and there may appear, with few occasional dust pops also noted at different places, what appears in each case when you open a factory sealed item and take the record out of its sleeve. Important to know – picture discs never give the same audio quality than normal black vinyls, this is due to manufacturing issues.

Packing: All records are posted in professional boxes. The record(s) are removed from their main cover to avoid edge splits and placed within a brand new polylined inner. The record’s original inner will be included if available. The boxes are then reinforced with at least two stiffeners for maximum extra protection.
