Up for grabs now is the picture disc of the 1983 Iron Maiden album, "Piece of Mind", with an extra track! That song is their remake of the Jethro Tull classic "Cross Eyed Mary", which was never on any Iron Maiden album, but was the B-side of the single of "The Trooper", from this album. Maiden does that great song justice, in my opinion! The A-side of this very cool picture disc has Eddie busting out of the Earth, and into space. The B-side has the infamous vegetable and brain platter, and the song titles.
This was an awesome follow-up to their mega selling "The Number of the Beast", and it features the hits "Flight of Icarus", "The Trooper", and "Die With Your Boots On", all great songs! This is the complete album, (with that extra song), but the sound was not all that great, as picture discs in the 70s and 80s were made for promotional purposes, and collectors. (Surface noise is quite possible on picture discs). Hang this baby on the wall, and get the CD to blast on your stereo or laptop!
Record looks very, very good. Has been taken care of, obviously! I could not find much more than a very, very light surface mark or two. Only visible with the record turned a certain way in a very bright light. Looks amazing for something that is 27 years old!
