I am selling two individual vinyl records as a pair. Both are used. The first is a "2 Minutes To Midnight" picture disc by Iron Maiden. It was bought new in 1984 and has pretty low play time as it was purchased more as a novelty. The record plays fine with no skips and has no major scratches or abrasions. Some mild static can be heard here and there, most notably during the conversation track where Maiden is having an argument. This album plays at 45 rpm. Something to note about this record... even though the record plays fine, I notice that the tonearm on my turntable likes to try and skid into the first song on this record. Some say that it's because picture discs have higher edges but most sources suggest something is amiss with the anti-skate adjustment on my turntable. This behavior has occurred with some of my other records as well, but not all the time. Since I am unsure, I am mentioning it. If you know a lot about these things, feel free to email with comments.
The other is a regular black vinyl version of "Piece of Mind" by Iron Maiden. This one is well used and shows signs of it, plus was also purchased in 1984. All tracks play fine except for tracks #1 and #3 on side two. Both of these tracks skip. Some mild static can be heard at the beginning of the two sides and once in a while in between tracks. Also an occasional light pop (not severe) can be detected during play. Visually, this album could use a good cleaning (for those of you that know how to do it correctly.) Even though all of the tracks on side one play fine, there are some noticeable abrasions along some of the grooves along with some light scratches. These can be seen when examined under the light.
Interestingly enough, the second side is cleaner with only a couple of light scratches even though it has 2 skipping tracks.
The outer jacket is in pretty decent shape and has an appropriate amount of shelf wear that would be expected for its age.
The inner sleeve looks pretty good but one of its sides does have a small split.
