Description

An original 1st press of PS on the EMI custom labels from 1984. Matrix A1/B2. Etchings 'There's only one!' + 'Thats FUCK..' - redacted. Stamped 'STERLING'. The vinyl comes housed in an original textured/dimpled cover with EMI Records top left on the rear. Also included is the original lyric inner sleeve. We will ship in a Mofi inner for maximum protection.
Vinyl (Ex+) In fantastic condition and has only seen light careful use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side, one incredibly superficial trail - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with just one deviation. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. Bags of energy and punch,, but lots of low-level detail thanks to that super quiet background. Very little to find fault with here - it just aces it all the way through. All I could detect was a few isolated crackles and a couple of ticks in that midsection of "RIME" - the very quiet spoken word passage. Probably impossible to find this section playing perfectly quiet. Why risk a dud copy?... just get yourself a... TOP OF THE LINE COPY.
Cover (Ex-) Beautiful untarnished surfaces with precious little creasing. I can only make out one slight crease top left on the front. Edge wear is very slight for the most part and the openings are still sharp. A bit of wear evident on the spine, but nothing bad. The text is pretty much still legible with some wear partially obscuring. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex+) An absolute beaut - it doesn't feel far off new. Smooth shiny surfaces without creasing or ageing. NO splits!!
