Description
Here we have a very rare and unteresting maiden vinyl. The famous Canadian Capitol purple label. First released by Harvest records in Canada with the extra track the mighty Wrathschild which was only on the Canadian, US, New Zealand, Brazil, Argentina, Australia and possibly Greece. Cant remember. Anyways. EMI decided to partner with harvest records to press Maiden releases in Canada whilst Capitol records held the rights in the USA. Capitol bought out harvest records because of poor sales. The first presses have the green harvest label. Pretty cool to own these days on its own. Then capitol took over and produced the last few hundred according to contract. Purple capitol labels are extremely rare and only run from 1980 -1986. As far as I am aware EMI and capitol only produced aces high, women in uniform, 2 minutes to midnight, running free live in the uk. The Others are powerslave, USA and Guatemala. And Iron Maiden debut USA and Canada. Maiden Japan is a total one off as the band did not want it released but EMI toshiba japan wanted a live EP. Im glad they did. Paul di annos last released official live recording. Legendary. There are not many of these in this condition. A Rare piece of maiden history in top condition. Any questions please ask.
