Description

This auction is for Iron Maiden's Seventh Son of a Seventh Son on picture disc. Reissue on EMI records from 2013, cut from the original production master vinyl. This was released as part of a run of eight classic Maiden albums. The picture disc comes in a deluxe gatefold sleeve with obi strip and a picture sleeve. The record is advertised as limited edition but I'm not sure how many were pressed.
Everything is in near mint condition. I played the record maybe once or twice and it has always been kept in a smoke and pet free environment. I store records upright in plastic sleeves. The edges of the gatefold show no wear at all and the spine is pristine. I've taken a photo to highlight a small area of discolouration to the top corner of the spine. The obi and inner sleeve are in perfect condition. A few stray flakes of plastic can be seen in the spindle hole.
Despite the notorious lack of quality common to picture discs, this one actually plays fairly well, but perhaps not something for the die-hard audiophile.
I'll aim to post the record within two working days of receiving payment. I'll ship it in a cardboard record mailer with plenty of bubblewrap. Post will be 1st class signed for. Local collection is not available and I do not accept offers to end auctions early.
