Notes:

For MP3 samples of the actual record listed, please click on this link:BEST PLAYED ON DESKTOP/LAPTOP - for some reason mobile version seems to have gaps that are not on the record Click Here to go to YouTube Video

  • Conversion is from a budget deck so they are not audiophile quality and there is a bit of distortion not heard on the album itself - but they do allow you to hear the quality of the surfaces & playback to take the uncertainty out of buying :)
  • If you have trouble with the link from mobile devices, please click the option for 'desktop' when youtube opens - failing that drop me a message and I'll send you the link.

• 1982 Press EMI - EMI Made in England

• Matrix/Runout Side 1: EMA 3400 B4 'NICKX'

Condition - Please read and remember this is a 35 year old vintage item ???? pics are honest so please look.

Vinyl Surfaces - Good+ (visual good, plays VG)

Audio Test - with budget deck and Audio Technica Studio headphones VG

  • Quiet intros and Gaps between tracks have audible background noise and crackles and some have a few clicks
  • Once the songs start these cannot be heard unless on quiet part or on the fade-outs.
  • There is 1 very short skip on the intro to 'The Prisoner' you hear a click and part of the laughter skips, but only if you're really familiar with the original would you notice. Once the track starts properly everything plays fine.
  • Overall the songs sound bright and clear and can be enjoyed without excess background noise - but this is not for an audiophile (hence the price)

Visual Inspection/Bright Light: Good

  • Moderate to heavy hairline marks on each side when looking carefully - the kind of marks left by regular playing and OK handling, but the Vinyl has definitely been enjoyed over the years.
  • No deep scratches

Visual Inspection - Bright Daylight: VG

Vinyl Labels - Excellent

• Both labels EX

• No mould, scratches or marks.

• Colours and printed text all perfect

• Small amount of wear/'spidering' on spindle holes

Outer Sleeve - VG-

• Nice sheen all round, no colour fading.

• Moderate-to-heavy wear on corners

• Moderate-to-heavy wear on spine, all writing is readable with some wear

• Has clearly been used and handled a lot with reasonable care. No splits or tears and overall  still in VG- for a 35 year old vintage item.

Shipping & Payment

• Well packaged in stiff, thick card mailer + Stiffeners for protection.

• Vinyl will be removed from inner and securely packed during shipping to prevent splits

• I combine shipping cost for multiple purchases - please contact me to let me know before paying and I will give you a quote.
