Iron Maiden The Soundhouse Tapes 7".
Yes, the legendary Soundhouse Tapes. Now, the number of these appearing on ebay suggests to me that either they are not all originals, or Maiden released a lot more of them than they are letting on! Accordingly I make no warranty as to the authenticity of this item. I have never had any reason to doubt its authenticity BUT if this is 30 years old then its better shape than I am! It is mint condition. The sleeve has no creases or scuffs whatsoever. The record looks unplayed (I certainly have never played it). I bought this about 15 years ago in a record fair in Southampton.
Tucked inside the sleeve, as you can see from the photo, is a small insert that says:
"Iron Maiden Information.
Soundhouse Tapes £1.20
T shirts (S,M,L) £3.00
Badges £.40
(all prices inc.p+p)
available from Iron Maiden information 105 Beaconsfield Road London E16 4HT"
If somone out there knows definitively from this description whether or not it is original, then perhaps you would let me know.
Either way, if it isnt original, I suspect it must be some sort of official re-release, and so either way has to be an essential part of any Maiden collection
