The X Factor
This album seems to be from the first pressing in 1995 but unlike a Normal Album there is no Matrix No indicating when it was pressed, However it has No 8358201-A/B on side one and two, and 8358211-A/B on sides three and four. Also I have a sales receipt (Photo) which was in the cover dated 25/10/95, as the Album was released on the 2nd Oct 95 it is likely to be amongst the first pressed.
The Vinyl itself has no scratches of any kind, including the light ones from removing and replacing the cover, and there are no spindle marks on the centre label In fact examination of the hole showed that a small piece of plastic "flash" was still in it so it may never have been played (Photo). Clear Vinyl pressings can show a number of visual defects that Coloured Vinyl can hide, therefore when examined closely small marks and even one tiny black spot (Inclusion?) are visible. These are in the moulding itself and, particularly for the spot, I have played the track (Technics deck, good quality) and there is no audible effect and they are actually below the surface.
The inner sleeves are in excellent condition and the cover is crease free and virtually perfect with only a slight area of ring mark on the back and the spine is almost perfect. The enclosed poster/ track listing is similarly in perfect condition and looks like its never been unfolded
I'm sure that like my last sale item, at its age the condition is amazing, I'm also sure that a vinyl in this condition will not come up every day (Perhaps every other one? See my other listings).
