On September 4th, 2015 the new album "The Book Of Souls" by Iron Maiden will be released. It's the 16th Studio album by the British metal legends - and it's a very special one. On the one hand, of course, because it's the first since frontman Bruce Dickinson beat cancer. On the other hand, "The Book Of Souls" is the first double studio album ever in the 34-year history of the band!
The songwriting was broader than on the previous Maiden albums: bassist and founding member Steve Harris contributes to seven of the tracks, six of them with the Maiden guitarists and a sole composition.
