For sale is an authentic first pressing of Iron Maiden’s legendary March, 1982 breakthrough album The Number of the Beast. If you're a collector or just want a strong-playing early copy, this one delivers. Like many originals from ’82, it has seen some normal use over the decades — but it truly holds up and plays great and has that classic sound.
Audio & Play Condition:

Sounds fantastic overall with that warm, powerful early-’80s analog punch these original pressings are known for.

NO SKIPS at all.

Light surface pops in a very few spots, but nothing distracting at all. VERY little noise at all. I have videos perhaps somehow I can send to anyone interested.

No fading in/out, no dead spots.

Strong, consistent playback across both sides.
Sleeve & Packaging:

Includes the original lyric inner sleeve (no separate insert). No order form though, sadly.

Jacket shows normal shelf wear for a 1982 release that was loved and cared for and not moved around from place to place all that often.
This has been part of my personal collection, and I own several copies — just thinning things out a bit. It’s a genuinely great-playing vintage copy of one of the most important metal albums ever released.
