Mega rare 1968 Beatles 7" from Israel  "Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da\While My Guitar Gently Weeps"
This laminated cover is one of the most desirable Beatles covers that were ever pressed in Israel! It's got a beautiful picture of the fab four from their "Mad Day Out" photo session (July 28th 1968) and it's unique to Israel only! No other place in the world used this picture for a Beatles cover! The most extraordinary thing about this record is it's French catalogue number: FO 148!!! while the French Beatles record with the same title and catalogue number has another picture sleeve. Please notice: this cover was pressed in Israel in two color variations: pink and purple. They are both mega rare! For sale in this auction is the pink one. To my opinion and from my experience the pink one is rarer and scarcer than the purple one. Believe me, it's not an easy task to find this record and usually it found in very bad condition (the Israeli vinyl market in the 60's was very small and the Israeli fans prefered to buy full albums instead of 7 inch records). Not many copies of this record were pressed back then in 1968 and probably not many survived. Finding it in any condition is so amazingly rare and almost impossible nowadays.
