This Auction Has A Low Starting Price & No Reserve!!!

 

"The Ballad Of John & Yoko\Old Brown Shoe" - This is a mega rare original Israeli Beatles record from 1969 in great condition! This laminated cover is one of the most desirable Beatles covers that were ever pressed in Israel and it's in MINT condition! It's got a beautiful picture of the fab four from their "Mad Day Out" photo session (July 28th 1968) and it's unique to Israel only! No other place in the world used this picture for a Beatles cover! Please notice: this cover was pressed in no less than four color variations for the left and right stripes: blue-red, blue-orange, green-yellow, green-orange. They are all mega rare! For sale in this auction is the blue-red one. Please notice: due to a problem with my scanner the red stripe in the pictures turned into orange. For the avoidance of doubt, the cover that you see in the pictures is exactly what you get and it has blue-red stripes (it only looks orange due to a problem with my scanner). Please feel free to ask me any question if something is still misunderstood. Believe me, it's not an easy task to find this record and usually it found in very bad condition (the Israeli vinyl market in the 60's was very small and the Israeli fans prefered to buy full albums instead of 7 inch records). Finding it in nice condition is so amazingly rare and almost impossible nowadays. This is a very nice condition and it's one of the best I have ever had or seen! The catalogue number is R 5786.

 

Condition:

 

Cover: The laminated cover is MINT!!! It's a perfect cover, simply a beauty. There are no seam splits, no cuts, no tears and no writing. The lamination is perfect! The mouth is perfect! The spines are perfect! It's a very nice and clean cover and one of the best I have ever had or seen. Please look at the pictures, they tell all the story.

 

Record: Side A is EX++ and Side B is NM, both sides sound great. The Apple labels are in nice condition. It's one of the best I have ever had or seen. The record comes with a nice original Israeli EMI nylon inner sleeve.

US buyers, your attention please: I ship the record from Israel and not from the US and that's why you have to pay 7$ (and not 4$ as mistakenly mentioned in the shipping and payments section in this page).
