Description
Very rare first issue Decca SXL LP. This was the only album in the series ever to feature a gatefold sleeve. This symphony was recorded a few years later with the LSO and the SXL issue was deleted.
RECORD
The vinyl is in VG condition, it looks relatively clean apart from various marks and a few paper scuffs from the insert. There are no "feelable" scratches. This record has visually graded under a strong light.
INNER SLEEVE
The original inner sleeve is included and is in excellent condition apart from creases to the edges.
RECORD SLEEVE
The sleeve is in Very good condition considering it's age . The front cover has some bumped edges and the gatefold join at the bottom has a small half a cm split. The inner gatefold is in clean condition but has a small amount of yellowing on the pouch to hold the record. The laminate displays some minimal lifting on the back cover and has shrunk a little and caused the card to bow. Apart from that, this is a brilliant example of this 50 year old record. You'd be hard pressed to find another in as good condition as this.
